Modern Revival, Glen Park.
First impressions.
This historic Glen Park home went through a complete, down to the studs, modern renovation. The entry way had a cool, industrial vibe that needed a little creativity and softening up. A unique patterned custom rug was installed to fill the entire space, including under the stairs, to make the space feel more cohesive. The space under the stairs was not useable since the owners were concerned about the height clearance and head wounds! We put bamboo ferns under the stairs to enliven and soften the space, they will eventually fill in to the height of the ceiling. A gorgeous Mexican wrought iron entry table with a custom shoe bench is perched below a mid century abstract oil paining.
